涂潭村位于万安镇西部，村名的来历，据说与三条溪流交汇处的一个深潭有关。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
这里先在明代归九龙乡，清代归溪口社；1957年并入溪口乡。1958年随人民公社改隶溪口与万安两个公社，1959年改设涂福管理区下的涂潭大队。[1][2]
1984年后隶属万安乡，1995年起隶属万安镇。[1]
人口与产业[edit]
以曾姓为主，全村有194户、712人，辖3个村民小组。耕地1430亩，林地41250亩，森林覆盖率83%。[1]
渔业是村中的主要产业，林木、毛竹与网箱养殖则带来多数村民的收入。[1]
境内有国家级水利风景区梅花湖，村中还有古寺与丰稔遗址。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2021年11月，获福建省卫生村称号（福建省爱卫办命名）。2023年2月，入选福建省第三批高级版绿盈乡村名单。[1]
