浮竹村在万安镇西北部，村名先因方言谐音而称“无竹”，后雅称“浮竹”。[1]
村名由来[edit]
村境内荒山较多，树木稀疏，没有毛竹。方言中“毛”与“无”同音，村名最初叫“无竹”；“无”又与“浮”谐音，于是雅称“浮竹”。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
清代与民国初年归溪口社，此后划入溪口镇。解放初曾隶属邻近的乡，1957年改归溪口乡。1958年并入溪口人民公社的一个大队，1980年独立为浮竹大队。[1]
1984年起为村委会，1995年划归万安镇。后因地质灾害，村里重建了新村。[1]
人口与产业[edit]
全村辖1个村民小组，共136户，464人。[1]
耕地912亩，山林3295亩，森林覆盖率72%（博雅地名网所载，未注统计年份）。[1]
村中经济以传统的竹帘生产与销售为主，也有人外出经商务工。[1]
姓氏与非物质文化遗产[edit]
全村以池姓为主，祖祠称西平堂。[1]
浮竹村是福建省级非物质文化遗产「浮竹岭纸帘制作技艺」的发源地。据百度百科，该技艺自清代传承至今，工序多达72道。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2021年11月，获福建省卫生村称号（福建省爱卫办命名）；村中还曾获评福建省第三批农民住宅示范小区。[1]
