高林村位于万安镇境内，村名由高坑、林坑两个自然村的村名首字组合而成。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代这里是溪口一带的辖地，民国时期属溪口镇。1957年行政区划调整，白沙、小溪两区的蕉营坑等几个自然村改归万安，并入高林，当时属溪口村与溪口乡。[1]

1958年设为溪口公社的高林大队；1984年起归万安乡管辖，设为村委会；1995年划归万安镇。[1]
