黄坂村位于612县道旁，在新罗区与漳平交界处，距市区约60公里，是新罗区的东大门。村名最初指藿溪边的一处沙坂，因黄姓族人先到此地居住，故称黄坂。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代属福村社，民国时期是西埔乡的黄坂村。解放初属白沙和区，1957年归白沙乡。1960年分出设黄坂大队，1964年一度并入他村，1978年又分出，成为白沙公社的黄坂大队。1984年改称白沙乡黄坂村委会，1995年12月起称白沙镇黄坂村委会。[1]

直到1995年前，本村村财基础薄，靠上级扶持度日。1998年下半年，福三线改线穿过村庄，村里乘势发展经济。1999年，村里组织群众兴建黄坂新村。[2]

文化[edit]

2021年11月，本村被福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
