小吉村位于白沙镇南大门，紧邻莆永高速苏坂互通，距龙岩中心城区约40公里。村子原名吉长洋，取吉祥之意，后改称小吉。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

明代，本村属九龙乡万安里苏坂社，清代至民国初仍是苏坂社的地界。1956年设小吉高级社，1958年划入白沙公社；1960年体制下放，单设小吉大队，1974年又分设一次。1984年起为白沙乡小吉村委会；1995年12月，改称白沙镇小吉村委会。[1]

文化[edit]

2020年12月，本村被认定为「龙岩市第一批中级版绿盈乡村」；2021年11月，被福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」；2021年12月，被确定为「福建省第二批高级版绿盈乡村（乡镇）」；2022年12月，被福建省绿化委员会命名为「2022年福建省森林村庄」；2024年2月，被确定为「第二批福建省乡村振兴示范村镇」创建对象。[1]
