罗坪村位于白沙镇西部山区，距镇区约10公里，由上寨、下寨两个自然村组成。村名的来历是：驻地的自然村名为大罗坪，村委会因此称罗坪村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

解放前，本地是宁洋县小溪乡的罗坪村。1950至1955年间归宁洋县管辖；1956年秋划入龙岩县白沙区，成为罗坪村。1960年归白沙公社，1961年体制下放后称罗坪大队。[1]

1984年改称白沙乡罗坪村委会，1995年12月称白沙镇罗坪村委会。[1]

文化[edit]

2021年11月，福建省爱卫办命名本村为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
