南卓村位于白沙镇政府所在地西部约2公里处，与白沙水库风景区相邻，是集镇的后花园，又是重要的饮用水源保护地。村名取南山圳、卓贤两个自然村的首字组成。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
解放前这里叫南大保。解放初分为南山圳、卓贤两个自然村；1956年两地各设一个高级社，1960年合成南卓大队。1961年曾分为南一、南二两个大队，1966年复合为南卓大队。[1]
1984年改称白沙乡南卓村委会，1995年12月起为白沙镇南卓村委会。[1]
文化[edit]
2015年10月，本村入选「福建省第一批省级传统村落」；2020年12月，被确定为「福建省第一批高级版绿盈乡村」；2021年11月，福建省爱卫办命名本村为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
