北山村位于雁石镇西部，村名取义于它处在岩山焦山之北。境内矿产资源丰富，以煤矿和石灰岩为主。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1956年分开设立北山村，1984年改设北山村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年1月，北山村名列「2020年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」；2021年11月，获「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]
