坂尾村位于雁石镇东边，境内矿产资源丰富，出产煤矿与石灰石。村名由地形与河流的走向而来。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村子地形像一条鱼，雁石溪在此分出两支，两支之间的沙滩多坂，地名便由“半尾”演变为坂尾。[1]
民国时此地属苏坂乡管辖。解放初设坂尾村，1960年单独成立坂尾大队，1984年改设坂尾村委会。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
宋连宣义墓位于坂尾村连氏祖山的东麓，墓坐西向东。连宣义名谦，字伯嘉，生卒年不详，宋乾道年间（1165—1173年）迁入龙岩。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2026年1月，坂尾村列为「福建省2026年度乡村振兴示范村」之一。2023年1月和2024年1月，该村依次名列2022、2023年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）名单。[1]
