民祠村位于雁石镇南边，村名的来历与村中古时居民所建的一座祠堂有关。该村名曾有过几次变动。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民祠村曾写作盘畲，后又称攀盘，再后称伴畲；20世纪60年代公社化后定名为民祠村，此名沿用至今。[1]

1989年，民祠村委会另行设立。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年1月，民祠村名列「2020年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」；2021年11月，获「2021年福建省卫生村」称号；2023年1月、2024年1月，又依次名列2022、2023年度的平安名单。[1]
