北河村位于雁石镇西部，村名取自流经村边、向北而去的龙川河。该村近年获得多项乡村振兴与卫生荣誉。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时期此地称厦和乡北河保；解放后归厦老乡，称北河村。1968年单独成立北河大队，1984年改设北河村委会，属雁石镇。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年4月，北河村被评为「2020年度福建省乡村振兴实绩突出村」。2021年11月，村子获得「2021年福建省卫生村」的称号。同年12月，它被列入「2021年度福建省森林村庄」。2022年10月，北河村入选「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。2023年12月，它列入「龙岩市2023年度乡村振兴示范村镇」名单。2024年2月，北河村成为「第二批福建省乡村振兴示范村镇」的创建对象。[1]
