新芦村位于雁石镇境内，1965年由两个旧称合并而成，村名中的“芦”字原写作“炉”。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1965年，新林、新民两地合并组成新芦。“芦”字原为“炉”，因寨角一带关帝庙的样子像一只火炉，才有此名。[1]

1984年改设新芦村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年1月，新芦村名列「2020年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」；2022年12月，获「2022年福建省卫生村」称号；2023年1月和2024年1月，又分别名列2022年度和2023年度的同一平安名单。[1]
