中溪村是福建省龙岩市新罗区适中镇下辖的行政村，位于集镇中心地段，距镇政府约300米。村东傍上方山麓，北与中心村毗邻，村名取自两个历史地名各一字。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

村委会取大中、柳溪两个历史地名各一个字，合成“中溪”作为村名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

解放前，此地为适中镇的辖地，划为大中、柳溪、龙埔三保。村名1949年定为中溪村；此后依次称中溪乡（1951年）、农业生产合作社（1955年）与大队（1958年），1984年才改设中溪村委会。[1]

地理与交通[edit]

319国道从村中穿过，村内适中溪贯穿全境，村域由三个自然村、二十一个村民小组组成。[2]

村内道路纵横，有大小村道二十余条，水渠和小型水库也能保障农田灌溉。[2]

文化设施[edit]

2005年以来，村内先后建成土城公园、中溪农民乐园和龙埔健身场三处农民文化娱乐广场，其中土城公园内设有农民书屋。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2005年，中溪村获「福建省级村镇住宅优秀小区」称号，并获「全省民主法制示范村」称号；2007年列入「省级园林式村庄」；2010年，在新罗区第二届「永丰杯」魅力乡村评选中获得表彰。[2]

省爱卫办在2021年11月公布中溪村为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
