历史沿革[edit]
旧时属适中镇的象和乡。解放初划为适中区洋东乡所辖，1957年撤区并乡后，此处成为洋东村。[1]
1958年归适中公社，成为洋东大队；1984年成为适中乡洋东村委会，1989年又改属适中镇洋东村委会。[1]
革命历史[edit]
土地革命时期，邓子恢、魏金水、伍洪祥等人在山坪头建立基点村，洋邦率先建立苏维埃政权，开展土地革命并组织武装。村中先后有38位烈士为革命献出生命。[2]
经济[edit]
20世纪90年代，村里引进外资创办建材企业，此后发展起水泥、石粉和运输业，逐步形成以建材带动运输的格局。[2]
荣誉[edit]
本村在龙岩市2022年度「平安村居（社区）」名单之内，名单公布于2023年1月。[1]
