象山村是福建省龙岩市新罗区适中镇下辖的行政村，位于镇的东北隅，地处群山环抱的小盆地。村西有一座小山形似大象，村名由此而来。村东与漳平市永福镇相接。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村庄海拔约670米，年平均气温比镇政府所在地中心村低，无霜期也较短。村内山林面积大，是适中镇最大的山区村。[1][2]

象山的矿藏有金、银、铜、锡、铁、石灰石和煤等。古代曾有人在村内的银场自然村冶银，银场的地名也由此而来。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

解放前这里是象和乡公社的驻地。1958年归象溪公社，村名为象山大队；1965年转由适中公社管辖，仍为象山大队。[1]

1984年设适中乡象山村委会，1989年改为适中镇象山村委会。[1]

产业[edit]

近年来，毛竹和薏米成为村民的主要收入来源。村两委推动“一村一品”，计划组建薏米协会与毛竹协会，并发展薏米加工与毛竹工艺品。[2]

荣誉[edit]

龙岩市农业农村局在2021年10月认定象山村为「龙岩市2021年市级一村一品专业村」，产品为薏米。同年12月，村庄入选「2021年度福建省一村一品示范村」，产品仍为薏米。[1]

本村在龙岩市2022年度「平安村居（社区）」名单之内，名单公布于2023年1月。[1]
