莒舟村在龙岩市新罗区适中镇的北部，是镇下属的一个行政村。村名来源于地形，据说状如一艘船。村域内有上郑、下郑、林坑园、三井等自然村，319国道与漳龙高速公路穿村而过。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

解放前，此地属象和乡。1949年称莒溪村，1951年改设莒溪乡，1958年成为莒溪大队，1989年设立莒舟村委会。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村内山地有两万余亩，耕地约1047亩。九龙江支流的一条小溪由村南流向村北，穿村而过。当地气候温和湿润，秋冬两季多雾。[2]

境内蕴藏马坑铁矿的南段矿体。[2]

人口[edit]

2006年全村有216户，823人。[2]

荣誉[edit]

本村在龙岩市2022年度「平安村居（社区）」名单之内，名单公布于2023年1月。[1]
