龙星村位于镇域南部，距镇政府约11千米，是镇内的边远山区，俗称「悠远村头」。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村庄位于悠远片的最上端，早先称村头。1958年划归龙岩县后，更名为龙星，取龙岩之星的意思。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

原属永定县高陂乡，1958年初起改属龙岩县红坊公社。1961年独立设为大队，1979年又分出一个大队，1984年成立龙星村委会。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

悠远天后宫在村内一组，清道光二十五年（1845年）建成，为围合院式土木结构，后厅建有六角形三层楼阁式的葫芦刹塔，底层供奉妈祖神像。2016年5月，它被公布为第四批县级文物保护单位。[2]
