坎洋村地处镇域西南部，东靠铁路桥，依山伴水。村子所在的平地俗称「洋」，因位于这片洋地的上端、地势略高而得名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

解放初隶黄岗乡，1957年改属红坊乡。1961年设坎洋大队。[1]

1981年复设坎洋大队，1984年改为坎洋村委会。[1]
