村中有一条小路蜿蜒曲折，形如一条龙；村庄又位于红坊溪边，土地平坦，村名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国初隶东黄区，属中原乡，后归中联乡。解放后经历红坊区、附城区的调整，1957年6月撤区并乡后，归红坊乡中原村。[1]

1958年公社化后设大队，文革期间改称红卫大队，后复称龙溪邦大队。1984年设龙溪邦村委会。[1]

龙溪邦村于2021年11月获福建省爱卫办授予「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]
