紫金山社区的辖区位于紫金山上，因山得名。山上五峰秀峭，「紫金晴雪」历来被列为「龙岩八景」之一。[1]
地名由来[edit]
据《龙岩县志》记载，山上有五峰，峰势秀峭，壁立千仞。晨光映照，夕阳倒映，山色紫如金，故称紫金山。[1]
沿革[edit]
2021年9月10日，社区办理登记备案。2024年12月，社区列入「2024年福建省儿童友好社区」名单。[1]
