历史沿革[edit]
明代，这一带归铁石乡的龙门里管辖，聚落位于城区西郊，称谢洋[1]。
清代至民国初，村地先归湖邦社，此后隶属湖邦区与龙门镇[1]。
1950年代至1960年代，行政隶属频繁调整：先后归附城区、湖邦公社与龙门公社，1958年设谢洋生产大队，1959年又曾归龙门管理区[1]。1984年改称龙门镇谢洋村委会，2011年改由北城街道管辖[1]。
据博雅地名网，谢洋村先后于2020年9月、2021年10月和2022年10月上榜淘宝村名单，2021年的名单由南京大学空间规划研究中心与阿里研究院联合发布[1]。村庄获评2020年度与2023年度龙岩市「平安村居（社区）」，认定时间分别为2021年1月与2024年1月[1]。
