铁石洋社区是福建省龙岩市新罗区铁山街道下辖的社区，属主城区，与见龙社区相邻。[1]

地名由来[edit]

据乾隆三年（1738）《龙岩州志》，乡名“铁石”的来历可上溯至宋代。这一带是龙津河长年冲刷后留下的平原，洋面开阔，当地老人便把此处叫作铁石洋。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

2021年9月，社区登记备案。[1]

文化[edit]

2023年1月，社区获评2022年度龙岩市「平安村居（社区）」；2024年1月，获评2023年度同名称号。[1]
