连坑村在龙门街道西北，为革命基点村，距龙岩中心城市约15公里。村名取义于它与相邻一村连成一片，彼此唇齿相依。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1929年，村设立了乡苏维埃政府；1936年起属联保，1941年归龙门镇。1949年11月归湖邦区，1956年划入龙池区。[1]
1958年9月起，村属湖邦、小池、龙门公社，为连坑生产大队；1984年设龙门镇连坑村村民委员会。[1]
村分别于2021年1月和2023年1月获评「2020年度」「2022年度」龙岩市「平安村居（社区）」；2021年11月，福建省爱卫办授予「2021年福建省卫生村」称号；2023年12月，村获「2023年度福建省森林村庄」称号。[1]
