湖坑村位于新罗区西北部，离龙岩市区约10公里。村名原自一条流经湖洋上游的小溪涧坑，溪源称湖源，后来才叫湖坑。[1][2]

地理环境[edit]

村地处山区，耕地多为梯田，山林面积较大。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

明代这里属铁石乡龙门里湖洋社，清末至民国初归湖邦社。1933年划为湖邦区湖新乡，1937年并入第一区湖洋乡的联保，1941年又设为湖洋乡湖源保。[1]

解放后，1949年11月村归湖邦区湖洋村管辖，1953年改属新洋乡，1956年归龙池区湖洋乡。1958年9月起，村隶属湖邦、小池、龙门公社，称湖坑生产大队；1984年改设龙门镇湖坑村村民委员会。[1]

村曾获省建设厅授予「省优秀示范住宅小区」称号。[2]

福建省爱卫办于2021年11月授予村「2021年福建省卫生村」称号；2024年1月，村获评「2023年度」龙岩市「平安村居（社区）」。[1]

文化[edit]

村中戴氏宗祠，亦称「湖源乡农民协会成立旧址」，建于清代中叶。它于2017年列为县级文物，可用来考察湖坑戴氏的源流。[3]
