湖二村位于319国道边的龙津河畔，是龙门街道的一个村，辖矮陂、圳下、沙墩和埔上四个自然村。村名同样源于湖洋，1953年与邻村分设，本村位于坑柄公路以上。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明代，此地隶属铁石乡龙门里的湖洋社，已有人聚居；清末至民国初年则归湖邦社辖。1929年至1932年间，它属湖邦区苏维埃政府下的湖洋乡；1933年转入湖邦区湖邦乡，1937年起与湖洋联保并存，联保下设埔上、圳下、沙墩等保。[1]

1949年10月，村归湖邦区管辖，称湖洋村；1953年划入新湖乡，1956年又归湖洋村。1958年9月起，它隶属湖邦、小池、龙门三个公社，为湖二生产队；1984年改设龙门镇湖二村村民委员会。[1]

2021年11月，福建省爱卫办授予村「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]
