曲潭村位于东肖街道西北部，距中心城市约4千米，交通便利。[1]曲潭又称曲潭尾，早先村的上端有一条弯曲的水潭，故名。[1]2021年11月，村庄被福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」；2024年初，村庄又获得2023年度龙岩市「平安村居（社区）」称号。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
民国30年（1941年）此地归东安乡，随后并入白土镇。解放后，此地曾受东红区、东肖区及附城区管理；1957年撤区并乡后并入东肖乡。1958年至1961年间行政隶属几经变动，1962年重新设立曲潭大队，1984年改为东肖镇曲潭村委会。[1]
