东肖街道是福建省龙岩市新罗区下辖的街道，位于新罗区南部，辖4个社区和18个行政村。[1][5]

1995年3月撤东肖镇设街道。[1][6] 境内后田村是1928年后田暴动的发生地，据百度百科，该暴动打响了福建农民武装斗争的第一枪。[8][9] 邓子恢与陈明都出生于本地，邓子恢生于邓厝村，陈明生于龙聚坑。[3][4]

历史沿革[edit]

东肖的名称取自明代以前白土境内的东坑隘与肖坑隘，各取首字而成。[7]

北宋皇祐年间（1049—1053年）此地属龙岩县九龙乡表政里。明嘉靖三十七年（1558年）表政里改属铁石乡，设东坑社，统白土、肖坑、西坑和古田洋等村落。清代至民国初，这里仍为东肖社。[3][6]

1929年6月至次年12月，以及1932年4月至10月，东肖建有苏维埃政府。1933年东肖与黄坊并为东黄区，次年归第五区；1937年3月属第二区，设白土办事处。[5][6]

1941年（民国三十年）设白土镇。1944年，龙兴乡与东安乡的保并入白土镇。[5]

1949年后，此地先后设东红区、东肖区，1953年设中民镇；1957年撤区并乡，设东肖乡，次年成立东肖公社；1961年东肖公社重新设立；1984年起称东肖镇；1995年3月撤镇设街道。[5][6][1]

据百度百科，2019年又在街道内增设中民、溪圣、田洋三个社区。[2]

地理环境[edit]

街道距区政府约8千米，1997年面积73.1平方千米；百度百科所载面积为71.5平方千米。[5][1]

境内三面环山，山地多而平地少，山岭与白土溪谷中的小盆地相间排列，属亚热带季风气候。[3][1]

319国道穿过街道，漳龙高速、省道福三线与龙岩大道也经过此地。[5]

龙岩学院位于街道境内。[3] 境内矿产有煤、铁、高岭土、石灰石和耐火粘土等。[3]

东肖街道曾于2014年9月获得国家级生态乡镇称号，年度为2012至2013年。[6]　2022年12月，东肖街道获得福建省森林城镇的称号。[7]

人口民族[edit]

统计数字显示，1987年东肖镇有22699人，其中4834人为非农业人口。[3][5]

普查结果显示，2020年街道常住人口为80278人。[3][4]

居民以汉族为主，也有回族和满族。[3]

名胜古迹[edit]

新罗区人民政府公布的文物名录中，有以下各处位于东肖境内。[8]

  • 后田暴动遗址，位于后田村，原为陈氏宗祠，建于清末。1928年3月4日，中共龙岩临时县委领导后田农民在此焚烧田契债约，举行武装暴动，1961年被列为首批省级文物保护单位。[8][9]
  • 白土暴动旧址，位于菜园村犀牛排。1928年8月，闽西三县的农民武装在此会合，发动白土暴动，并首次进攻龙岩城。1938年3月初，新四军第二支队在此集合，随后奔赴皖南参加抗日。该旧址为县级文物保护单位。[8]
  • 东肖革命烈士纪念碑，位于犀牛排，1993年建立，占地5000平方米。[11]
  • 新四军第二支队司令部旧址，名仕峰厝，在龙泉村。抗战初期的1938年1月，支队司令部和政治部迁驻这里。2001年列为第三批县级文物保护单位。[8][10]
  • 新四军第二支队第四团团部旧址，即龙泉小学，位于龙泉村。1938年1月，第四团团部驻此；2018年公布为第六批县级文物保护单位。[8]
  • 邓子恢故居隆德堂，位于邓厝村。1927年冬，邓厝村贫雇农协会在此成立。2016年公布为第四批县级文物保护单位。[8]
  • 龙泉陈明故居，又名官宝厝，位于龙泉村。陈明早年在此成长，他后来担任过福建临时省委的书记。2016年列为第四批县级文物保护单位。[8]

著名人物[edit]

  • 邓子恢，生于东肖邓厝村（1896年8月17日），据百科所载，是闽西革命根据地与苏区的主要创建者之一。[3]
  • 陈明，1902年生于龙聚坑，在福建省立第九中学求学，毕业后回到白土桐岗小学任教，并与邓子恢等人创立奇山书社。[3]
