王庄村位于曹溪街道的东南部，属半山区村，319国道由东南向西北穿过村境。相传最早来此居住的是王姓族人，村名由此而来。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

明代这里属铁石乡在坊里，清代至民国初归东山社。1929年至1932年间，此地属东山、山马两处苏维埃政府辖区，后又划归东安乡、曹莲乡。解放后村子一度由溪山公社管辖，1989年才分出设立村委会，2013年改属曹溪街道。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2024年1月，该村被命名为2023年度龙岩市「平安村居（社区）」。[1]
