龙钢社区位于曹溪街道的主城区，前身是龙岩钢铁厂的职工生活区。工矿生活区改由社会化管理之后，设立了社区，社区名称由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

该厂1970年7月组建，代号7071，驻地在龙水井，起初由省里的生产建设兵团代管，1973年转交省冶金部门。1981年改称龙岩钢铁厂；1993年改组为龙钢企业集团；2003年4月国有产权转让，随后改制重组。2014年9月，区政府批准设立龙钢社区。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2023年1月，社区被命名为2022年度龙岩市「平安村居（社区）」。[1]
