曹溪街道位于龙岩市新罗区的东南部，是该区的一个街道办事处，距区政府约3千米，辖19个行政村和9个社区居委会。据2026年8月发布的街道简介，常住人口约16万人。[1][3]

地理环境[edit]

辖区面积130.85平方千米，境内有天马山、大锦山等山岭，以及小溪河等水系。[1] 龙岩大道、龙腾路、莲南路、天马路等城市主干道贯穿全境，319国道、龙厦高速公路与龙厦高铁也经过辖区。[1] 据街道简介，地下蕴藏石灰石、铁、锰、煤、铅、锌、钼等十余种矿产，石灰石是本地优势矿产。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

一说地名源于最早在此居住的曹姓氏族，博雅地名网引清乾隆三年《龙岩州志》「昔有曹姓者居溪之浒」一语为据。[2]

明代这一带属铁石乡在坊里，清代至民国初大部分属东山社。1929年至1932年间，境内先后设有马坑、东山、山马、蕉坑、南福等苏维埃政府辖区。[4]

解放后的1949年11月起这里属西陈区，此后划入附城区；到1961年6月，城郊公社中分出的一部分另设为曹溪公社。1984年7月，这一建制改称曹溪乡。镇一级的改设年份，博雅地名网两处记载不同：一作1989年9月改曹溪镇，一作1990年撤乡设镇。[3][4]

街道办事处称，撤镇设街的时间为2013年1月25日。博雅地名网则记，省民政厅于1995年3月同意将镇改为街道办事处，此后于2013年1月挂牌运作。[1][4]

2021年2月，街道入选「福建省2018—2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单；2022年，街道被中共龙岩市委评为「龙岩市新时代红土地党的建设工作先进集体」。[2][1]

名胜古迹[edit]

董邦村的董邦小学旧址即「中共龙岩临时县委机关旧址」，始建于清末，坐西朝东，为土木结构的单层瓦顶平房，前后两厅，两侧有回廊。旧址在董邦小学内，该小学现址为董邦幼儿园。[5]

著名人物[edit]

月山村人邱金声生于1912年，1939年去世。他1930年投身红军，在红军中由战士历任至团长。中央红军离开后，他仍在闽西一带开展游击活动。[6]

董邦村人张旭高，1903年生，1944年卒，原名昭明，字问鸥。他在集美学校读书时，参与成立龙岩籍学生的组织，并与人创办季刊《新龙岩》。[5]

中甲村人陈桂昌（1920—1982年），1934年参加地方游击队，次年入党，后在新四军中任排长、连长至营长。[7]
