后盂社区因村落四面环山，形如一口百亩水塘，俗称“盂”，故名后盂。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1992年9月起此地设后盂居民委员会；2003年2月再组建为后盂社区居民委员会。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
博雅地名网载，龙岩洞摩崖石刻位于本社区的麒麟山，为福建省文物保护单位，2005年公布。[2]
荣誉[edit]
「平安村居（社区）」称号先后于2021年1月授予2020年度、2023年1月授予2022年度、2024年1月授予2023年度，均由龙岩市评定。[1]
