擎天岩村是龙村乡下辖的行政村，位于乡境北部，地处建瓯、建阳、政和交汇的山区，村部距乡政府约11千米，辖6个自然村。村内的擎天岩是建瓯市北部的最高峰。[1][2][4]

地理环境[edit]

擎天岩主峰海拔1222.9米，村庄平均海拔774米，属高山云雾气候，适宜种植高山云雾茶和反季节蔬菜。[1][3][4]

历史沿革[edit]

宋代这里属瓯宁县的西乡。1940年它被划入水吉县下墘区的龙村乡，1953年又归下墘区的新村乡，1980年更名擎天岩大队，1984年沿用至今。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

擎天岩于2018年被列为省级风景名胜区。山体岩石裸露，形态各异，有正果洞、试心岩、龙珠岩等景点。[3][4]

擎天岩为福建省文物保护单位。山中的龙池寺殿宇多为清代和民国年间所建，寺门为清代建筑，寺前有三棵千年南方红豆杉。[1][4]

大汴地自然村有一座周氏祠堂，建于清代末年，祠内的雕龙与雕凤十分精致。[1]
