下杉溪村是龙村乡下辖的行政村，位于乡境北部，村委会设在下杉溪村，距龙村乡所在地约2千米。全村下辖上杉溪一个自然村。[1][2][3]

地理环境[edit]

村庄位于三条溪流的汇合处。「三」字与「杉」字谐音，村名因而带上「杉」字，又称杉溪。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1940年这里属水吉县下墘区的龙村乡；1953年改隶下墘区的新村乡；1980年改称下杉溪大队；1984年起沿用现名。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

兴隆宝殿始建于明朝成化年间，文革期间被毁，现存的庙宇是20世纪80年代后群众募捐，在原址上重建的。庙内供奉吕蒙及多尊佛像，俗称吕蒙将军祠。[2][3]

每年农历三月初三，村中举办兴隆宝殿庙会，请地方戏班连唱三天。[2]
