边溪村是福建省南平市建瓯市川石乡东北部的行政村，距川石乡集镇19公里。村南与后洋村、洋屯村接壤，东、北两面与政和县毗邻。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村名的来历是此地三面环山，中间一条狭长的小仑向前延伸至两溪交界处，居民都建在这条小仑上。[1]
1949年，此地归东游区川石乡管辖；1963年成立川石公社边溪大队，1984年才用今名。[1]
地理环境[edit]
北坑、中溪、岭源、分水洋、边溪，是村内的五个自然村。全村平均海拔496米，最高处的自然村约800米。[1]
