慈口村是福建省南平市建瓯市川石乡中北部的行政村，地处松溪河畔，距集镇3公里，与省道204线、松建高速隔岸相望。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历是开派先人定居时见山势如慈龙潜卧，于是取“龙慈”之意，在小溪与松溪的交口落户。旧时又称龙兹口。[1][2]

宋神宗年间，陈氏先祖在此开基，繁衍至今。[2]

1949年前后此地为东游四区的慈口乡；1951年改属川石十一区，仍称慈口乡；1958年成立川石公社慈口大队，1984年用了如今的名字。[1]

2019年12月，慈口村入选「第一批国家森林乡村」名单，并被中国生态文化协会授予「2019年度“全国生态文化村”」称号。[1]

2020年11月，慈口村上榜「2020年度南平市“绿盈乡村”中级版村庄」名单；同年12月，被确定为「福建省第一批高级版绿盈乡村」，并入选「2019年度福建省“一村一品”示范村」（雷竹笋）名单。[1]

2021年2月，慈口村列入「福建省2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单。[1]

2024年2月，慈口村被确定为「第二批福建省乡村振兴示范村镇」创建对象。[1][2]

经济[edit]

村内以雷竹、茶叶为主导产业，设有五福雷竹专业合作社。[1][2]

名胜古迹[edit]

清末民居、古水碓遗址和接龙桥仍保存在村中。[2]
