墩阳村是福建省南平市建瓯市川石乡西南部的行政村，村部海拔230米，距乡所在地11千米。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村旁有一座高山遮挡阳光，村名中的“墩”与“挡”、“阳”与“垱”音近，由此而来。[1]

解放初，此地称东游四区川石乡的垱阳保；1951年划归川石十一区；1958年起为川石公社垱阳大队，1984年定为今名。[1]

墩阳村于2021年11月获福建省爱卫办命名，称号是「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]

地理环境[edit]

东面紧挨川石村，北面与小岭村相接，西边连着龙村乡，西南与东游镇相邻。村内有三条公路，分别通往川石乡、龙村乡和东游镇。[1]

下面分龙井、大阔、下宅、南新、墩阳五个自然村，龙井是革命老区的基点村。[1]
