历史沿革[edit]
村名据称来自吴姓居民开村建设。[1]
此地先为东游四区水北乡的地界，1952年归川石十一区。1958年，水北公社设吴墩大队；1984年定名为现名。[1]
地理环境[edit]
村辖吴墩、钱溪、回坪、葫芦坵四个自然村。山上种植锥栗、毛竹、水果和茶叶，田间种植烤烟与大棚蔬菜。[2]
