铜场村在204省道对岸，以铜场大桥与省道相通，离建瓯城区10公里，离东峰集镇17公里。全村辖2个自然村和2个村民小组。[1][2]

1947年此地已称铜场村，属霞桂乡的铜溪保。[2]

村内有矿产资源，铜、铅、锌矿各一座。村民以种植果蔬为主，兼做工厂的季节性工作。[2]
