小桥镇位于福建省南平市建瓯市东南部，镇域东侧与玉山镇接壤，西侧濒临建溪。全镇辖1个社区、13个行政村，集镇距建瓯城关约29公里。镇域以丘陵为主，农林业较发达。[1][4][7]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年8月，建瓯县分为7个区，小桥列为第二区；1952年6月，全县改设12个区，小桥成为第八区，1955年9月又改为小桥区。[3]

1958年，这里先后设立小桥片指导组和日日新人民公社。1960年起称小桥人民公社管理委员会，1968年设立革命委员会，1980年12月恢复原称。[3]

1984年6月撤社建乡，设小桥乡人民政府；1992年12月撤乡设镇，改称小桥镇人民政府。[3]

地理环境[edit]

小桥镇位于建瓯市东南部，地形为中低丘陵，河网较密，境内河流共9条，山地占绝大部分，水田比重小。[4]

镇域气候属亚热带海洋性季风型，四季分明，年平均气温约20℃，无霜期在270天以上，年平均降雨量约1650毫米。[4]

人口[edit]

2005年，全镇有10908户，39447人。[4]

经济[edit]

农业上，镇内形成粮食、林木、竹、茶、果、蔬菜、食用菌、畜牧和水产等生产基地。[1][2][4]

2000年前后，“百丈岩”牌竹荪取得“绿色食品”标志的使用权。[4]

工业方面，镇内企业以食品加工、竹木加工、磨料磨具和电力能源为主，这一格局在2005年前后已经形成。[4]

交通[edit]

镇域西侧连接205国道，省道福汾公路横贯镇域，经此可通往古田、福州。横南铁路穿过镇域西南角，洋沙设有火车站和10万吨级货场。[1][4]

著名人物[edit]

南宋史学家袁枢（1131年—1205年）是建瓯人（维基百科），据博雅地名网所载，小桥是他的故乡。[1][6]

名胜古迹[edit]

普通桥位于后塘村，据博雅地名网为县级文物保护单位。[1]

革命烈士合葬墓位于阳泽村，为近代建造，被公布为县级文物保护单位。[1]

建瓯市第八批历史建筑名录列入小桥镇的阳泽村民居（学才巷5号、学才巷7号）和霞抱村方氏宗祠。[5]

荣誉[edit]

2020年12月，福建省爱卫办将小桥镇命名为「福建省卫生乡镇」；2022年12月，小桥镇被命名为「福建省森林城镇」。[1]

2023年10月，小桥镇获认定为「2023年福建省级森林康养小镇」。[1]

「第四批福建省乡村振兴示范乡镇创建对象」名单于2026年2月13日公布，小桥镇位列其中。[4]
