大康村位于南雅镇南部，距镇所在地15公里。村东与本镇毛竹场所属的朱坑相接，并与迪口镇下庄村为邻。[1][2]

名称由来[edit]

宋代时，卢姓人家从南平宝珠山迁来此地居住，原名“墩头”。清代初年改名“大康”。[1]

行政区划[edit]

2013年时，村辖七个自然村，分别是坪莾、南坑、青坑、下垅、下漈、上布与大康，村民小组共十三个。全村706户，3029人，其中60岁以上的有405人。[1]

村中以卢、汤两姓为大户，卢姓约270余户，汤姓约80余户。[1]

自然环境[edit]

境内山峰中，虎头岩高980米，红叶岗高790米。溪流四条，源头分别在上布、下漈、坪莾和南坑，最终汇入皇康溪。[1]

产业与习俗[edit]

村中主要种植水稻和葡萄。水蜜桃的盛产期为1998年至2013年。本村的传统节日在农历五月十三，每逢此日，亲友多来团聚。[1]
