南雅镇在福建省南平市建瓯市南部，地处建溪中游，东邻小桥镇和迪口镇，西邻房道镇与顺昌县高阳乡，南接延平区大横镇。全镇辖1个居民委员会（四龙社区）和21个行政村。[1][2]

名称由来[edit]

此地古时称瓦窑坑，因在建瓯城南，又叫南瓦口。后人嫌“瓦”字不够雅致，改作“雅”，遂称南雅。据《建瓯县志》，东汉献帝建安初年此地已归建安县管辖，是建瓯南面的门户。[1][3]

当地因位于建溪河畔、为水路运输的重要码头，习惯上也称“南雅口”。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

此地解放前属建瓯县第一区，解放后划入第五区。1958年9月组成卫星人民公社，1960年以后易名南雅公社。1984年改设乡人民政府，1985年撤乡建镇。[1][2]

地理环境[edit]

山地以中低山为主，西南部较高，东北部较低，云龙岩、龙岗岩、打四门山等是其中的高山。注入建溪的河流共八条，其中较大的有中湾溪、高阳溪，还有集北溪、白沙溪。年均气温19℃，年降水量平均为1500毫米。[1][3]

镇域户籍人口42381人，共10884户，其中少数民族130人，此外统计在册的海外侨胞为12人，港澳台同胞为10人。博雅地名网与维基百科所载人口数字均未注明统计年份。[1][3]

产业[edit]

林木、茶叶、柑桔、葡萄与锥栗是南雅的主要产业，当地有「柑桔之乡」「南国葡萄之乡」和「闽北竹乡」的称号。据博雅地名网概况页，全镇有林地45.7万亩，森林覆盖率为76.4%，耕地43982亩。[1][3]

龙头产业共五个：奶牛饲养，以及竹制品、茶叶、食用菌和绿色食品的加工。[3]

荣誉[edit]

福建省2018至2020年度的省级文明村镇社区名单公布于2021年2月，南雅镇名列其中。[2]

镇内设一个居民委员会，即四龙社区，其余为21个行政村。2024年7月，建瓯市农业农村局公示的市域村庄分类名单中，南雅镇列有21个行政村。[2][4]
