潘坑村在建瓯市西北部，村域西侧与靛墩村相接，北面与顺昌县为界，东边连着吉阳镇，南与小竹村相邻。[1][2]

人口民族[edit]

2012年末，村中总人口为1395人，共351户。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

南岩寺据称建于宋末的1278年，此后一度毁坏，1984年复建，2008年又加修缮，现有六座殿宇，寺中设住持一人。每年7月28日有庙会，外地香客也来此参拜。[2]
