尤墩村位于建瓯市西部，是房道镇面积第二大的行政村。村子距房道镇政府约4公里，204省道从村中穿过，是建瓯通往顺昌的交通要道。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

尤墩历代俗称尤墩。1949年后此地属房道区的尤墩乡，此后称尤墩村。据考古考证，唐代以前已有人在此山坡开荒居住。[2]

地理环境[edit]

村域属武夷山东延余脉，低山丘陵四周环绕，土壤以红壤为主，适宜杉木与毛竹生长，竹木业是村中的支柱产业。[2]

经济[edit]

村里盛产冬笋、白笋和白笋干，种植杉木的历史悠久，是用材林的发源地之一。[2]

文化[edit]

每年元宵，村中有舞龙踩街的活动。[2]
