九堡村位于房道镇境内。1949年以前，这里由九个自然村合成，村名由此而来。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1952年划入房道三区，设九堡乡。1961年房道公社下设九堡大队。1964年划归建西县，1970年转由顺昌县管辖，1975年回归建瓯县。1966年称红胜大队，1969年又改为九堡大队革命领导小组，1984年才设立九堡村民委员会，至今未变。[1]
