地名由来[edit]
村子原名「大乐」，唐末黄氏先人从外地迁入此地，在凤山脚下开辟田地建屋。宋代黄裔曾任吏部大夫，淳佑年间为纪念他，村名改为大夫。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
解放初大夫属吉阳六区的吉阳乡；1952年另设吉阳二区的大夫乡，1956年划给房道区。1958年，大夫成为吉阳公社的大夫大队，1984年方定名大夫村。[1]
荣誉[edit]
大夫村于2021年11月获福建省爱卫办授予「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]
