大潭村是福建省南平市建瓯市徐墩镇下辖的行政村，位于镇的东北部，四面环山，与徐墩集镇相距约16公里。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

村庄四周群山环绕，中间形成一个大水潭，村名由此而来。[1]

村内最高海拔500米，村旁一条小溪由东向西穿村而过。[2]村辖5个自然村。[2]

沿革[edit]

大潭大队成立于1949年，1981年改设为大潭村民委员会。[1]
