西池社区是建瓯市瓯宁街道下辖的社区，属主城区。社区名称取自两处旧地名各一字：一处古时设有城西驿站，附近河边有放生池。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

社区的前身可追溯到1987年设立的桥西居委会。1996年，辖区分设三个社区居委会；2003年经整合，设立西池居委会。[1]
