瓯宁街道是福建省南平市建瓯市下辖的街道，位于建瓯市城区西部，以建溪河为界，河西一带属瓯宁街道管辖。街道组建于1996年，当时撤销芝城镇，原地分设四个街道，瓯宁街道为其中之一。[1][3]

据百度百科，街道2011年末总人口为18177人。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

1984年，这一带改设芝城镇。1996年建瓯撤县设市，芝城镇随之撤销，分设芝山、瓯宁、建安、通济四个街道，瓯宁街道由此设立。[1][2][3]

地理环境[edit]

境内丘陵与低山相间，海拔多在250米以下，地势总体偏低。气温年均值为18.7℃左右，雨量一年约1663.6毫米，无霜期有286天。[1]

横南铁路与205国道穿过境内，交通条件便利。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

七里街水库在建瓯市西郊约七公里处，属建溪支流池畲山溪，1972年动工，1976年竣工，库容260万立方米，又称七里湖。博雅地名网概况页称，境内以该水库的五级瀑布及周边涵养林为主体，已形成一处旅游生态园区。[2][4]

境内还有玉龙寺，寺院历史可追溯到宋代，已有千年。[2]
