村落周围多苎麻，地势为洼地，故名麻坜。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年另设麻坜大队，归幸福公社管辖；1961年改归吴屯公社管辖；1984年改为麻坜村民委员会，归吴屯乡管辖。[1]

荣誉[edit]

麻坜村是革命老区基点村之一。[1]
