排头村是吴屯乡东部的行政村，距乡政府约1.5公里，东邻后墘村和岭根村，西与吴边村、小寺村相连，北接街路村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1961年另设排头大队，归吴屯公社管辖；1980年改为排头大队；1984年改为排头村民委员会，归吴屯乡管辖。[1]

地理[edit]

村域南边有岭根溪，北边有瑞岩小溪，西边靠东溪水库，东边为群山。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

村中东山禅林为一座古刹，位于古楼凤凰山麓。佛母庵始建于宋朝，在东溪水库上游东岸，每年古历六月初四为其会日。[2]

荣誉[edit]

排头村属省定革命老区基点村。[1]
